Serving:
Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Union City, San Leandro, Fairview & Cherryland
Our Milpitas campus is our South Bay school for the youngest learners, one of the few in the area where a baby can start in infant care and continue through pre-k, and the toddler classrooms are where most Milpitas families join us for the first time, alongside children moving up from our Milpitas infant room. Under director Ms. Sandhya, the toddler rooms at 301 S Abbott Ave are set up as open learning spaces: low shelves of Montessori practical-life materials for pouring, scooping, and sorting, a reading corner, and a fenced outdoor play area toddlers use every day the weather allows. The program starts at 18 months.
Our Milpitas campus is open Mon - Fri: 8:15am - 6:00pm, so working parents get a full day of care in one place. Teachers share photos, meals, naps, and diaper or potty updates through the Brightwheel app, and the whole campus is nut- and peanut-free. Our Kindness Curriculum and Creative Curriculum lessons sit alongside the Montessori materials, giving toddlers structure without taking away the freedom to move and explore.

Toddlers learn by moving, touching, and talking, so the Milpitas toddler day is built around short, active blocks rather than long sit-down lessons. Here is what parents can expect from the toddler rooms on S Abbott Ave.
Teachers narrate everything they do, read aloud daily, and lead circle time songs and finger plays. Toddlers at Milpitas also get early exposure to Spanish through our enrichment program, and most families notice a jump in vocabulary within the first few months.
Hand-washing, putting on shoes, carrying a plate, wiping a table: Montessori practical-life work gives toddlers real jobs they can finish on their own. When your child shows readiness, Milpitas teachers partner with you on potty training so the approach at school matches home.
The fenced Milpitas play yard is used daily, and physical exercise or dance is part of the routine. Optional enrichment like yoga and music adds variety during the week, with some classes offered at an additional cost.
New Milpitas families get a gradual start, and Brightwheel updates during the first weeks help parents see their toddler settling in. Children moving up from the Milpitas infant room already know the campus and many of the teachers.
