Our Ardenwood campus offers an after-school program for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students, including pick-up from nearby elementary schools. Our Ardenwood campus is one of our newest schools, with freshly built classrooms, new equipment, and new play structures, so many after-school families are former preschool and pre-k parents whose children already know the teachers at 4938 Paseo Padre Pkwy. Under director Ms. Sushma and lead teacher Ms. Sapna, the afternoon is calm and predictable: a snack, time outside, Montessori work and art, and free play until pick-up.
The Ardenwood campus is open until 6:00 PM, in Ardenwood Plaza off Paseo Padre Pkwy, minutes from Highway 84, the Dumbarton Bridge, and I-880, which gives working parents a dependable end to the school day. Families see check-in times, snacks, and photos through the Brightwheel app, and the whole campus is fenced, access-controlled, and nut- and peanut-free.

Pick-Up From Nearby Schools
Ardenwood staff pick up TK and kindergarten students from nearby elementary schools when the school day ends, so parents do not have to leave work mid-afternoon. Ask the campus which schools are currently on the pick-up route.
Snack, Reading, and Quiet Time
After a healthy nut-free snack, children settle into reading, journaling, or Montessori work. The pace is deliberately slower than the school day, giving kindergartners a chance to recharge before active play.

Children choose from Montessori materials, art projects, and group activities, then head to the fenced Ardenwood play yard. Enrichment such as music, yoga, or dance runs on some afternoons, with some classes offered at an additional cost.

Many Ardenwood after-school families also have a younger child in our preschool and pre-k classrooms, so one stop on Paseo Padre Pkwy covers everyone. The campus is open until 6:00 PM, and the sibling discount applies.
