Montessori is an important part of how children learn at Level Up Montessori. We use hands-on materials, practical life activities, cultural study, and child-centered exploration to help children stay actively engaged in the learning process. Rather than relying only on passive instruction, our classrooms give children opportunities to work with materials, build independence, and develop confidence through meaningful daily experiences.
For many families, Montessori stands out because it helps children become more independent and involved in their own growth. At Level Up Montessori, we build on these core ideas while also adding stronger academic structure and creative weekly learning experiences. This gives children the chance to explore, create, and build school-readiness skills in a balanced and engaging way.

At Level Up Montessori, our curriculum is designed to help children grow through a thoughtful balance of hands-on learning, structured academics, and creative weekly experiences. We believe early education should do more than keep children busy. It should help them build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for school and everyday life. Our approach brings together Montessori-based activities, stronger academic foundations, and team-based creative learning so children can explore, engage, and make meaningful progress at their own pace.

Our learning approach is built around three core parts. First, we use structured academics to help children prepare for kindergarten with early practice in letters, writing, classroom routines, and focused learning. Second, we use Montessori-based, hands-on learning to encourage exploration, practical life skills, cultural study, and active participation. Third, we include creative art and team-based weekly themes that give children opportunities to collaborate, express themselves, and enjoy learning in different ways.
Children learn best when they can actively engage with what they are doing. Montessori-based activities give children opportunities to work with materials, explore ideas, and build practical skills through meaningful hands-on experiences.
A big part of our curriculum is helping children become more confident in themselves. Through guided routines, self-directed tasks, and age-appropriate challenges, children learn how to make choices, solve problems, and take pride in their growth.
We also place importance on structured academics so children can build strong early foundations before kindergarten. This includes early writing, literacy, number concepts, classroom participation, and the confidence to step into a more structured school setting.

Children learn differently at every stage, which is why we tailor learning experiences based on age and development. Our goal is to meet children where they are while helping them continue building skills in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and appropriate for their stage of growth.
For younger children, learning focuses on early independence, language development, movement, routines, and hands-on discovery. Children are introduced to structure in a gentle and engaging way while building confidence in everyday classroom experiences.
In the preschool years, children begin building stronger academic and social foundations. They engage in hands-on learning, creative activities, early literacy, number concepts, and guided classroom routines that help prepare them for the next stage.
As children approach kindergarten, the curriculum becomes more focused on writing, letters, foundational academics, participation, and confidence in a structured classroom setting. The goal is to help children feel ready for the transition ahead.

In everyday practice, our curriculum includes a mix of teacher guidance, hands-on activities, structured learning time, and creative weekly themes. Children may work on early academic skills, participate in Montessori-based activities, explore practical life learning, and join in art or team-based projects tied to a weekly focus. We aim to create a classroom experience that feels engaging, organized, and purposeful. Families can expect a program that supports learning in multiple ways while helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically over time.

We believe families should feel connected to what their child is learning and experiencing. Parent communication is an important part of our approach because it helps build trust and keeps families involved in their child's growth. Through regular updates and ongoing communication, parents can feel more informed about their child's development, classroom experience, and daily progress.
